Abu Dhabi: A European woman has been sentenced to one year in prison for posting erotic and lewd photos of her on Facebook and Instagram to attract customers looking for sex services.
The Public Prosecution charged her with prostitution in the United Arab Emirates.
She will also be deported from the United Arab Emirates on serving her jail term, ruled the Criminal Court in Abu Dhabi.
The anti-vice squad caught her red-handed as an undercover officer was giving her money in exchange for sex services.
The undercover officer posed as a customer and contacted her by calling on her mobile phone and fixed an appointment for payment for sex services and she was caught-red handed, reported local Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm.
