Shocking pictures have emerged after an Avianca Airbus hit severe turbulence on Saturday.
Two crew members can be seen in neck braces, severely injured.
One of the crew members has a gash across her forehead.
The aircraft, flying from Lima to Buenos Aires left 23 passengers and cabin crew members injured.
Recently there have been many aircraft turbulence incidents.
One of them being the turbulence experienced in a Malaysian Airlines flight, MH1, in which 40 passengers were injured.
