What do you think is the best solution to Bahrain’s stray dogs crisis?:
Honestly, I don’t own a pet, in this case a dog, but I do adore them. With the increase in cases of dog attacks everyone is scared. I am scared too. The mentality has become such that one cannot differentiate if the stray is trying to play with you or trying to attack you.

Spay, neuter and let them be. If they bark they are dogs, it’s normal. Dogs are not wild animals. If some people are afraid of birds we will not go around killing the birds. These people should try to control their fear and leave the poor animals be.

The dog in the video was not aggressive at all. The government should promote the appropriate treatment of abandoned dogs and support suitable areas and new shelters for these poor abandoned animals.

Two months ago I was also attacked by stray dogs. I complained but to no avail. Killing them is the only solution because these dogs have become seriously dangerous. My doctor advised me to take daily morning walks but after the attack I do not go outside because of the fear of what might happen. Many adults and kids have been victims of these stray dogs. Why are they delaying taking action?

Assign someone who specialises in dog training, catch them and lock them up, similar to what other countries are doing, rather than letting these dogs roam the street.

Please do something guys. Every morning by 4am I come out and see a lot of dogs here in Hamad Town/Souq Waqf area. It’s really scary.
