MANAMA: Bahrain yesterday registered 637 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 809 recoveries and two fatalities.
A Bahraini man, 45, and a Bahraini woman, 67, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 439.
Of the new cases, 218 were expat workers, 408 contacts of active cases and 11 travel-related.
An additional 809 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 113,132. Of the 6,924 active cases, 137 are receiving treatment and 66 in critical condition.
Bahrain has so far registered a total of 120,495 cases. The kingdom has also conducted 3,049,850 tests.
