Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti passport ranks second in the Arab world and 97 in the world according to a list of the best passports in 2021 released by global consulting firm Nomad Capitalist.
The list, which included 199 international passports, ranked Luxembourg in first place, followed by Sweden, Ireland, Switzerland, and Belgium.
Kuwaiti passport holders are able to enter 96 countries without a visa or an online visa, Al Jarida reported.
According to the list, the Emirates was ranked number one in the Arab world and 38 in the world, followed by Kuwait (97), Qatar (98), the Sultanate of Oman (103), and Bahrain (105).
The passport index is based on criteria such as visa-free travel, international tax laws, happiness and development, dual citizenship, and personal freedom.
