The story of Dubai is a story of pursuing human dreams or anything that a human mind can imagine.
It is the second largest of 7 Emirates, and it has grown out of the desert in the last 50 years.
Shaikh Maktoum Bin Buti Al Maktoum founded Dubai in 1833.
But it wasn’t until oil was discovered that it began to prosper and has been ruled by the Al Maktoum family ever since.
In the days when oil was yet to be found, fishing and pearl diving were the only occupations available to a man who had to provide for his family.
It was a society that had no streets, cars, running water, electricity, schools, hospitals, or infrastructure.
