Al Ula: Saudi has opened registration for the second phase of the Hammayah programme, which includes a series of workshops and field trips for participants from the AlUla and Khaybar governorates.
The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), revealed that the programme aims to encourage community partnership, enhance awareness of the exceptional cultural, historical and natural heritage in the AlUla and Khaybar governorates and help the youth become ambassadors to play a pivotal role in preserving the heritage for future generations.
The programme, which is open to those aged between 18 and 35, also aims to empower them to become custodians of AlUla’s distinctive character.
Applicants can register at hammayah.rcu.gov.sa/account/register before April 14 and those accepted will be notified on April 30.
The programme, which attracted 2,500 people in its previous edition, will begin on May 5 and aims to contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
