TOUGH new measures are being introduced to tackle the surge in Covid-19 cases after Bahrain yesterday recorded the highest number of positive patients in a 24-hour period.
As reported in the GDN, more than 2,300 infections were registered, alongside eight fatalities, despite 861,398 people receiving the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and around 658,000 having their second dose .
