IT is sad that most of the private schools in Bahrain are still charging annual fees. For higher classes, it is almost double the monthly fee.
Schools argue that this is for the AC maintenance, sport and games, among other things. It is clear that without regular classes there is no sport and games or AC maintenance.
Then why are these schools looting the parents? Don’t they have humanity?
Even during these difficult times when parents are finding it hard to make both ends meet, the schools are not ready to reduce the monthly fee. Just think about parents with more than one child.
At least, the schools can consider waiving the annual fee which is an annual carnival for school owners to fatten their purses more than ever before.
