MANAMA: A restaurant was closed for one week for violating the mandatory precautionary measures for combating Covid-19.
The Public Health Department at the Health Ministry referred 52 restaurants that were found in breach of health protocols to the legal authorities.
Food Control inspectors visited 182 restaurants and cafes on Wednesday to ensure their compliance with the ministerial edict 51 of 2021 on health protocols in such outlets.
The establishments that failed to meet the required standards were warned to address the issues and rise up to the needed responsibility levels and implement anti-Covid
measures.
