GRATEFUL citizens from Bahrain’s Southern Governorate have thanked His Majesty King Hamad for taking care of them and for ensuring all-round development.
His Majesty was meeting a number of citizens from the governorate at Sakhir Palace yesterday.
He praised contribution of citizens in the Southern Governorate to the kingdom’s development process, commending their honourable national stances.
He stressed Bahrain’s success in handling the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and bringing life back to normal.
His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received at Sakhir Palace Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa and citizens from the governorate, who thanked him for the care and for ensuring all-round development
He underlined the importance of such meetings which are regarded as a continuous heritage and a driving force to go ahead with the national development march.
He also commended the role of the fathers and forefathers in laying down the foundations of the kingdom’s growth thanks to their dedication and patriotism.
The King praised the honourable stances of the Bahraini people throughout the kingdom’s history which enabled Bahrain to surmount many challenges.
Poet Ali Ahmed Ali Al Romaihi recited a poem before the King on the occasion.
The citizens from the governorate thanked the King for the meeting which embodies keenness on communication with citizens.
They wished His Majesty abundant health and happiness and every success in leading the kingdom to more growth and prosperity.
