CHILDREN aged from five to 11 will be able to receive the Pfizer/BioNtech Covid-19 vaccination in Bahrain from next year.
The news was revealed by the National Health Regulatory Authority tonight on its social media accounts.
“Two Pfizer/BioNtech Covid-19 jabs have been approved for children aged five to 11 years after the vaccination committee studied all medical recommendations,” the statement said.
“The doses are expected to reach Bahrain at the start of next year. The vaccination is 90.7 per cent effective for this age group."
