His Majesty King Hamad visited Jordan’s King Abdullah at his residence and reviewed distinguished historical relations.
Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the King’s personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Shaikha Nayla bint Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa were present.
The two leaders discussed ways to enhance co-operation in various fields, and stressed the importance of boosting co-ordination.
His Majesty praised King Abdullah’s fruitful visit that contributed to strengthening ties.
He praised the vital role of Jordan under its leadership in defending the Arab nation’s causes, supporting joint Arab action and contributions to enhancing security and stability in the region and the world.
King Abdullah expressed his appreciation to His Majesty for the warm reception and gracious hospitality, and wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty.
Later in the day, His Majesty bid farewell to King Abdullah at Sakhir Air Base, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
