Shaikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research will today celebrate its 20th anniversary. Arab and world cultural figures coming to Muharraq representing more than 50 Arab and international cultural centres will be attending the event, which runs until Friday. Chairman of the centre’s board of trustees praised the leadership and all individuals and institutions who believe in cultural activities for the great support extended to the centre since it was established in 2002.
She said the past two decades have yielded 28 projects in the fields of culture and research and a large number of cultural publications, in addition to documentation of more than 500 lectures.
