MOTORCITY, the exclusive distributor of a wide range of commercial and passenger vehicle brands in Bahrain, has launched the all-new Isuzu Multi Utility Xperience (MU-X) vehicle.
The launch event was held at the annual Isuzu-Motorcity Ramadan Ghabga for customers at the Gulf Hotel Convention Centre and attended by Royal Thai ambassador Piyapak Sricharoen, officials and members of the Press.
The all-new Isuzu MU-X is an elegant utility vehicle with distinctive design and performance elements, boasting the Japanese brand’s commitment to delivering inspired products and services.
Motorcity chairman Waleed Kanoo welcomed guests at the event and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering the highest quality vehicles to its customers.
“Motorcity’s customers have always been our main focus, and our mission is to provide them with high quality range of vehicles which cater to their needs and offer them outstanding driving experience,” he said.
“We thank Isuzu for making the event memorable with this outstanding award-winning vehicle.”
The new MU-X is a completely new vehicle from the ground up, being longer, wider and higher with a new chassis, bodywork and an updated engine.
Isuzu has also upgraded the safety and technology inside the vehicle for an advanced driving experience.
Safety is high on the priority list for Isuzu and the MU-X has a five-star ANCAP (the Australasian New Car Assessment Programme) rating. It’s first in class with driver and passenger airbags deployed at an earlier timing.
Mr Kanoo described the 2022 SUV diesel engine model as ‘unique’.
“This is a second generation Isuzu MU-X, an exciting model, which was originally introduced five years ago to the region,” he told the GDN.
“It’s been a long time since Isuzu decided not to continue with passenger cars. This is because they are doing really well with light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles.
“This new SUV comes in 4x2 and 4x4 capabilities. It is unique as it provides a diesel engine, known for its great performance and long mileage.
“One fuel tank can last you a drive from Jeddah to Bahrain.
“The price starts from BD13,500 for the 4x2 version.
“Isuzu has always been keen to introduce new technologies and listen to people’s requests. Our focus is on style, design and performance.”
Meanwhile, Cebarco Plant and Logistics Manager Zahoor Ur Rahman described his experience with Isuzu vehicles as remarkable.
“We have a big fleet of 150 Isuzu pick-ups and we bought this SUV for our project manager,” he said.
“This new vehicle is very comfortable and has great off-road capabilities.”
