ROB Lane won this week’s Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 34.
Samantha Hill clinched the runners up spot for the second consecutive week with a score of 35 nett while Mohamed Akeel narrowly won third place on count back with a nett score of 36.
Around 30 golfers took part in the Rainbow Challenge individual strokeplay tournament which was played under floodlights on the back nine holes of the Club’s Montgomerie championship course.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge.
The Monday Night Lights 9-hole competitions are open to club members and to non-members with an official handicap at a cost of just BD 18 per night green fee plus a BD 2 entry fee.
The competitions tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. Non handicap golfers are also welcome to play and can use their scores to work towards achieving an official handicap.
