The Northern Governorate held a co-ordination meeting with the heads of ma’atams (community centres), under the directives of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to ensure the provision of all security and organisational services that contribute to the success of the Ashoora season.
Chaired by Northern Governor Ali Al Asfoor, it was attended by officials, representatives of the Jaffari Endowments Directorate, relevant service authorities and around 100 heads of ma’atams .
