MANAMA: Al Baraka Islamic Bank (AIB) has signed an agreement with Smart Care Medical Centre aiming to ease medical payments for the bank’s customers.
Under the agreement, customers will be offered exclusive financing packages through the ‘medical services Ijara finance scheme’ at low profit rates over a maximum tenure of three years.
This comes in line with the bank’s plans to deliver tailored banking services and products that meet the needs of the community.
The agreement was signed by AIB chief retail officer Fatema Al Alawi and Smart Care Medical Centre chief executive Islam Mahmoud Abdelhadi.
Ms Al Alawi said: “We are proud to be one of the leading providers of the medical services financing in the banking industry. Our initiatives fall in line with efforts to provide customers with viable options for financing the cost of medical procedures and simplify the process of obtaining services from top local medical facilities in Bahrain.”
