His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has emphasised the strong bilateral ties that unite Bahrain and Egypt, strengthened by the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
He was speaking as he met President Sisi, at Sakhir Palace.
HRH Prince Salman welcomed the Egyptian President to Bahrain, noting the importance of his visit, which includes the signing of MoUs and agreements that enhance bilateral relations and co-operation.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended Egypt’s pivotal role in upholding regional security and international peace and stability.
The latest regional and international developments, as well as efforts to promote Arab co-operation and co-ordination to safeguard the interests of Arab countries and their peoples, were also discussed.
A number of senior officials also attended the meeting.
