Dove products in Bahrain are free of the hazardous chemical Benzene, the Health Ministry reassured last night.
US-based production company Unilever had recently issued a voluntary product recall on select lot codes of Dove dry shampoo.
The Public Health Directorate reaffirmed that inspections in the local markets were carried out following social media reports and it revealed no polluted products in Bahrain.
Citizens and residents were urged to contact the Public Health Directorate through Tawasul or by calling 17282244 to submit complaints, inquiries or suggestions.
