The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) has won the presidency of the Federation of Contractors from Islamic Countries (FOCIC) affiliated with the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC), in addition to hosting the federation’s headquarters.
Bahrain Contractors Society chairman Khalaf Hajeer was elected vice chairman, reflecting the high standing of Bahrain at regional and international levels.
FOCIC is a professional institution established in 1991 and includes many trade unions, federations and bodies from 26 Arab and Islamic countries and aims at developing and strengthening the contracting industry in the Islamic member states.
