If you are rolling in money like Bruce Wayne and have a cool $1.5 million lying around like change, you could now roll like Batman too.
The Batmobile from the 1989 Michael Keaton movie is now on sale at an auction for $1.5 million.
The Batmobile was featured in the Tim Burton-directed 1989 ‘Batman’ and the 1992 ‘Batman Returns’ films, both starring Michael Keaton as the caped crusader.
Originally designed by Julian Caldow, the Batmobile was first acquired by Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey once it retired from film sets.
It was bought from the amusement park by an anonymous buyer before they put it up for sale with the Pennsylvania-based Classic Auto Mall.
Although not a real Batmobile, meaning no cool gadgets or nitrous, the Batmobile does in fact run. It has an electric engine that maxes out at 30mph.
