Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, condemned the Iranian attacks that resulted in debris falling in the Al Ajban area, injuring civilians, and the targeting of Habshan gas facilities, which led to a fatality and additional injuries.
He stated that the attacks, which affected civilian areas and infrastructure, constitute a violation of international law and pose a threat to civilian lives and regional security and stability.
Al Yamahi called on the international community, including the United Nations Security Council, to take a firm position to halt the attacks.
He reaffirmed the Arab Parliament’s solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and other Arab states facing similar developments, and its support for measures undertaken to safeguard their security, stability, and territorial integrity.
