The Ministry of Oil of the State of Kuwait emphasised continued monitoring and implementation of precautionary plans in light of ongoing regional developments.
Shaikh Dr. Nemer Fahad Al Malek Al Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil, said that the ministry is working to update and enhance its plans in response to regional geopolitical developments and challenges following attacks targeting vital facilities in Kuwait and other countries in the region.
He added that the ministry operates through an institutional framework based on preparedness and proactive planning to strengthen its capacity to address regional and global developments efficiently.
Al Sabah highlighted the importance of enhancing coordination among relevant entities to improve performance and ensure effective integration within an institutional system based on rapid response and accurate monitoring.
He commended the national workforce in the oil sector for their competence and experience in managing critical operations.
The undersecretary noted that the ministry continues to carry out its duties in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the stability of the sector and continuity of operations.
