BD180m spent on expat civil servants last year
Excuse me? Yes, the talent isn’t free.
@salman_balucch
@salman_balucch Talent?!! Do you know what talent is and workplace requirements?!!
@akj477
This money should have been kept to employ Bahrainis; I’m sure there are plenty of locals who are more than qualified for these kinds of job! Time for these Europeans high paid so-called advisers to leave and the middle-class Indians to give their jobs back to the locals.
@kikaman888
Unless you’re living under a rock, most qualified Bahrainis know how stagnant Bahrain’s economy is and choose to leave. Most people who emigrate to Bahrain work hard for their positions, and are better qualified than most of the local talent. Talent should be appreciated no matter where it comes from, in this case local or expat. Education systems need to be raised to a higher standard. And salaries must be higher too for there to be an equal opportunity for everyone. And this applies to everyone, local or expat. Learn about the workforce that drives the economy today, and then talk.
