Legendary WWE wrestler-turned-actor John Cena fought his last match in the ring at Saturday Night's Main Event, marking the end of his iconic 24-year wrestling career.
Cena faced Gunther in Washington DC, and gave a passionate showing before losing it after tapping out, his first tap-out loss since 2004.
The crowd was elated during the match but stunned into silence at its end, then later became furious and chanted “bullsh*t”.
After the match, the entire WWE roster came out to applaud John Cena and salute him one last time as he exited the scene, with the crowd erupting with applause.
Cena wrestled in 726 televised matches throughout his career.
