Brave Bahrain narrowly missed out on reaching the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup final after falling to a 1-0 defeat to Oman at the Basra International Stadium in Iraq.
Jameel Al-Yahmadi scored the only goal of the game late in the second half to see Oman through.
They play hosts Iraq on Thursday, breaking the hearts of thousands of Bahraini fans in Basra and back home in the kingdom.
