His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received Paris FC president Pierre Ferracci, executive director Fabrice Herrault and former Brazilian footballer Raí Souza.
Paris FC represents Bahrain Victorious in French Ligue 2.
Shaikh Nasser commended the tremendous efforts of the president and Paris FC board members in establishing the club’s status in French football, as well as putting in place suitable conditions for it to achieve positive results.
Shaikh Nasser said that the team, which is backed by Victorious Bahrain, promotes the kingdom, highlights its wide-ranging achievements at various sports gatherings and contributes to achieving its Economic Vision 2030.
He indicated that Paris FC is on the right track, citing its positive results over the past period, wishing it further success.
Shaikh Nasser was presented with a commemorative gift, a Paris FC jersey bearing his name and number 13.
Ferracci thanked Shaikh Nasser for his ongoing support for Paris FC, which has helped achieve many goals set by its board.
Paris FC are currently ranked ninth in the Ligue 2 standings, with 27 points after 19 games. The top two teams will be promoted to Ligue 1. Le Havre, with 42 points, and Bordeaux, with 33, now occupy the top two positions. Paris FC play their next Ligue 2 match against Quevilly-Rouen on Saturday.
