Citizens and residents have been urged to take vaccines against Covid-19 virus and its mutants especially the booster doses in accordance with the recommendations issued in this regard.
The call is part of Health Ministry’s efforts to maintain high immunity rates against infections with the Corona virus and its mutants.
The ministry said the kingdom has been keen to provide the developed Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine against Covid-19 and its mutants administered as a booster dose in order to enhance prevention from the virus and its complications.
The booster dose of the developed Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine contributes to preserving the health and safety of citizens and residents and raising their immunity rate against moderate to severe infections with the disease and its complications, especially groups at highest risk of infection with a weak immunity system and chronic diseases such as diabetes, chronic heart diseases, chronic respiratory diseases, cancerous tumours, obesity and other immunodeficiency diseases.
The ministry calls on all members of society aged 12 years and above to take the booster dose.
