A UNIQUE tournament was organised by the Prime Equestrian Center last Friday, in partnership with the Cowboy Bahrain team and David Equestrian Services and sponsored by Mazaj Coffee, which featured a Western-style competition.
A large, enthusiastic audience was on hand to watch riders, dressed as cowboys from the old American West, take part in a series of competitions which culminated in a grand final.
Mohammed Jassim was declared the ‘Champion of Champions’ after winning the final.
“We aim to support equestrian sports as much as we can,” Prime Equestrian Center director Daoud Salman Ahmed said at the conclusion of the event.
“Cowboy competitions attract many because of their competitive nature. I am grateful to Cowboy Bahrain and David Equestrian Services for partnering with us, to our sponsors and also to the participants and the audience for cleaning up the venue after the event.”
