Around 200 workers attended a free medical camp organised by the Indian Community Welfare Association (ICWA) at the Cebarco Labour Camp in Askar.
Attending the event were ICWA chairman V K Thomas, alongside officials from Cebarco, Al Hilal Hospital and the association.
Dr Karim Albalushi and Dr Mohammed Adwan Bhutta, along with a team of paramedics from Al Hilal Hospital, conducted health awareness sessions and provided free general health check-ups, blood tests and specialist consultations for the workers.
The camp was attended by Cebarco Group financial director Jose Pediakal.
Association secretary-general Aneesh Sreedharan welcomed the gathering.
As a token of appreciation, the association presented certificates of appreciation to the doctors and paramedical staff from Al Hilal Hospital for their valuable services.
Snack packets were also distributed to all participating workers. The medical camp forms part of association’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and worker well-being through voluntary humanitarian initiatives.
