The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has announced plans to launch a tender for the Ras Abu Jarjur Reverse Osmosis water desalination plant project worth BD20 million in a public (international) tender inviting companies specialised in the field to submit their bids within the latest international standards.
EWA chairman Kamal Ahmed said the authority has finished preparing the tender documents and is currently in the process of uploading them to the electronic system of the Tender Board to enable interested companies to apply for the sale .
