Riyadh - Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, in a meeting yesterday with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell in Riyadh, stressed the importance of international collaboration and unity in efforts to stop the persistent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Discussions touched on the latest developments in regional and international affairs, with particular focus on the Israeli military attacks on Gaza Strip. They also explored ways to strengthen regional and international efforts aimed at resolving the crisis and ending the humanitarian catastrophe in the strip.
The two officials also talked about the regional security dialogue for senior officials from the GCC countries and the EU, slated to take place on January 24, 2024, at the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh, and underscored the importance of this dialogue in fostering regional peace and stability.
