HIS Majesty King Hamad last night thanked citizens for their solidarity and humanitarian endeavours.
These have been propelled by diligent individuals driven by noble spiritual goals, he pointed out as he received the residents of the Southern Governorate.
These efforts, the King noted, serve to unite communities and touch hearts.
His Majesty, who was accompanied by his Personal Representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, exchanged Ramadan greetings with the citizens. They conveyed their congratulations and best wishes for the last 10 days of the holy month and the approaching Eid Al Fitr.
They prayed for His Majesty’s well-being, health and happiness, as well as for the prosperity and progress of Bahrain and its people.
In a spirit of warmth and goodwill, His Majesty welcomed all present, expressing joy in their gathering and extending heartfelt congratulations to the citizens and the wider Islamic community as they embarked upon the final 10 days of the month of mercy and forgiveness.
He prayed to the Almighty to bestow His grace upon them during the fasting and prayers of this blessed month and to accept their righteous deeds.
The King emphasised the fervent desire of all to uphold authentic customs and traditions in their noblest manifestations during this season of obedience and charity.
Acknowledging the significant milestone of Bahrain’s Silver Jubilee under his reign, His Majesty conveyed deep appreciation for the heartfelt wishes and sincere congratulations received.
The residents expressed immense pride and admiration for his leadership, which has led Bahrain to achieve significant advancements in various fields, placing it among the ranks of developed nations.
They reaffirmed their loyalty to the homeland and its leadership.
The citizens appreciated the King’s attention towards the governorate and its people, evident in the implementation of various development, service, and housing projects.
Nawar Abdulla Al Mutawa, representing the governorate, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to His Majesty.
