AS a prominent dairy company in the region, Arla Bahrain has announced the renewal of its transportation contract with DSV Solutions, a global leader in transport and logistics services.
This renewal marks the continuation of a successful three-year partnership.
The collaboration between Arla Bahrain and DSV Solutions began three years ago and has successfully navigated various challenges, including those posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite these hurdles, both companies have demonstrated resilience and adaptability, ensuring the smooth production and transportation of Arla’s dairy products across the region amidst global supply chain disruptions.
Arla MENA supply chain head Jorgen Greve expressed satisfaction with the partnership’s renewal.
“Our ongoing collaboration with DSV has been marked by consistent reliability, professionalism, and a thorough understanding of our transportation needs. We look forward to further enhancing this partnership,” he said.
Arla Bahrain emphasises delivering high-quality dairy products to consumers throughout the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The strategic partnership with DSV is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and punctuality of Arla’s product distribution, which bolsters the company’s market reputation.
DSV Solutions Bahrain and Oman managing director Baiju Thomas commented on the partnership extension.
“We are pleased to continue our association with Arla Foods Bahrain, particularly in improving their cold chain regional road distribution in the Middle East from Arla’s Bahrain Dairy,” he said.
“Our extensive experience in managing complex food supply chains and navigating distribution challenges has been instrumental in providing reliable solutions,” he added.
“We eagerly anticipate achieving further milestones in collaboration with Arla.”
