Sarahouda Stiti, a 130-year-old Algerian woman, arrived in Saudi Arabia on June 10, eager to perform Haj.
The elderly woman received a warm welcome upon her landing at the Jeddah International Airport, according to reports.
Stiti is the oldest pilgrim from Algeria and also the oldest Haj pilgrim to visit the kingdom this year.
She expressed her determination, contentment and appreciation for the heartfelt greetings she received, along with the outstanding services.
Though Stiti appeared to be in good health and spirits, she was regularly being checked upon to ensure her journey ran smoothly and safely.
According to reports, Stiti’s inspiring presence brought 'pride and happiness to the Algerian Haj mission and the Algerian community as a whole'.
