Public Security Chief Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassan visited the Bapco Refining Company, one of the companies of the Bapco Energies Group.
He was welcomed by the company chief executive Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery in the presence of Special Security Force Command Major-General Waleed Al Shamsi, Director-General of Civil Defence Ali Al Kubaisi and other officers.
Lt-Gen Al Hassan said the visit was part of the directive of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to reinforce co-ordination between the Interior Ministry and Bapco Refining, especially reviewing security measures, safety procedures and emergency management.
The Public Security Chief was briefed on the company’s advanced security and safety system. Dr Jawahery appreciated the support of the Interior Ministry in matters related to emergency management and civil protection.
