Bahrain will host the second edition of the Global Water, Energy and Climate Change Congress early next year.
It will be held from February 23 to 25 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre in Sakhir.
The conference will bring together senior officials, experts and decision-makers from around the world to discuss important environmental topics and review effective solutions to water and energy sustainability challenges.
Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs Dr Mohammed Bin Daina stressed the keenness of the kingdom to maintain environmental security to achieve the goals of the comprehensive development process.
The second edition of the congress is expected to attract more than 2,000 participants, 250 specialised companies, and 200 prominent speakers.
