Can you believe it? Dubai is planning to give its workforce some serious 'chill time'. The emirate has launched a pilot programme to test 7-hour days and 3-day weekends from August 12 to September 30 in certain government entities.
As per ‘Our flexible summer’ initiative employees will get weekends of three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for seven weeks at 15 government entities as well as reduced working hours to seven per day, the Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has announced.
