A 20-year-old Indian man drowned while attempting to film a video for social media at Gopisagar Dam in Madhya Pradesh, India on Sunday.
Deepesh Lodha, who claimed to be a strong swimmer, asked his friend Raj to record him diving into the water. However, he soon began struggling and disappeared beneath the surface.
A local farmer, Phool Singh Banjara, was alerted by his children about the incident but could not locate Lodha.
Subsequently, the police were notified, and the State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF) was deployed to search for the missing man.
