Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Works Minister Ibrahim Al Hawaj held a joint meeting with Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Abdullah Nass.
Dr Abdulla underscored the ongoing efforts to strengthen co-operation with the private sector, particularly in infrastructure projects and enhancing the quality of logistical services. He highlighted the importance of such efforts in achieving Bahrain’s comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He commended the chamber’s role as a key development partner and emphasised the need to foster investment partnerships to boost the national economy’s competitiveness and diversity, in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals.
Mr Al Hawaj highlighted ongoing collaboration with the private sector to implement strategic projects, develop sustainable infrastructure, and improve public facilities and services. He emphasised that these efforts attract investments.
Mr Nass expressed appreciation to the government for its commitment to providing innovative solutions to enhance entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic competitiveness.
