The Foreign Ministry is closely following the issue of a Bahraini citizen detained by the Turkish authorities.
In a statement yesterday, it said it was making all necessary efforts through the embassy in Ankara and the lawyer assigned to the case to protect the rights and dignity of the citizen.
The ministry said it was continuing its efforts with relevant Bahraini and Turkish authorities to reach a quick solution to this issue and secure the release of the citizen, while stressing respect for laws and judicial procedures of other countries.
It expressed gratitude to all concerned parties for their co-operation, stressing its commitment to continue the efforts taken to safeguard the interests of the kingdom’s citizens abroad.
