Bapco were crowned champions of this season’s Bahrain Women’s Basketball League after defeating Alba 86-78 in the tournament final. The game was played at the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) Arena in Umm Al Hassam.
Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) board member and Committee for Equal Opportunities and Gender Balance in Sports chairwoman Dr Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa was on hand during the contest. She later presented the two teams their respective trophies and medals, in the presence of BOC Arab and international relations director Fajer Jassim Mohamed and BBA officials.
