Representatives for the former couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom finally confirmed their split after weeks of speculation, insisting that singer Katy, 40, and actor Orlando, 48, will ‘continue to be seen together as a family’ as they focus on their daughter Daisy, four.
Their representatives told Us Weekly in a joint statement: “Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Katy and Orlando are believed to have called off their engagement last month, after almost 10 years of dating.
A source previously told Us Weekly, “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
The pair got engaged in 2019 and welcomed Daisy in 2020 and it is believed that they are determined to keep things amicable for Daisy.
