THE fourth edition of Bahrain’s much-awaited cultural festival Muharraq Nights is set to be staged by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) in December.
An announcement inviting applications from retail and food and beverage vendors, workshop instructors, musicians and volunteers was made yesterday by Baca on its official social media channel.
The event, coinciding with the kingdom’s National Day celebrations, will transform the 3.5-kilometre-long Pearling Path in the heart of Muharraq into a visual celebration of Bahrain rich heritage and tradition.
The Pearling Path is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) World Heritage Site.
Last year’s edition saw more than 500,000 visitors and featured diverse attractions like open-air art installations, traditional crafts, musical performances, lectures, seminars and interactive sessions and food and other special tours along the Pearling Path.
The deadline to apply for the upcoming edition is August 27.
