A boat captain sentenced to life in prison for smuggling hundreds of kilogrammes of narcotics via sea tried to hang himself in his cell following a scuffle with a policeman, a court heard.
The 39-year-old inmate of Jaw Prison was found guilty yesterday of assaulting an on-duty officer and disrespecting three policemen .
