HANDBALL – Al Ahli set up last night a mouth-watering clash against holders Al Najma in the final of the Bahrain Super Cup 2025. Ahli qualified for the title-decider with a 27-23 victory over Al Dair yesterday at the Bahrain Handball Federation Arena in Umm Al Hassam. Ahli led 18-13 at the half and never wavered over the final 30-minute period.
Ahli are now scheduled to clash with Najma for this year’s Bahrain Super Cup tomorrow. The game will be played at the same venue and it is scheduled for a 7pm throw-off. Ahli will be aiming for their first-ever title, while Najma will be gunning for their seventh crown – including fifth in a row – in the tournament’s eighth edition this season.
