The role of technology in promoting educational excellence and innovation, while also creating opportunities for further growth was highlighted yesterday as His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, separately met United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
Unesco’s vital role in advancing education and fostering international co-operation in culture and science was also noted .
