KABADDI – Bahrain’s kabaddi team received official shoes ahead of the third Asian Youth Games, taking place in Bahrain from October 22 to 31.
A distribution ceremony took place, attended by the kingdom’s cricket, kabaddi, and hockey president Sami Ali, distinguished businesswoman and entrepreneur Zahra Baqer, Bahrain Cricket Federation advisory board chairman Mohammed Mansoor, and New Indian School principal K Gopinath Menon. Menon reaffirmed his continued support by providing the school’s facilities for kabaddi practice, significantly contributing to the team’s ongoing development and training.
Competition manager Hitesh Sikka and technical manager Jagdeep Pal Singh conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) president Vinod Tiwari and IKF director Tejasvi Gehlot for their generous support in providing kabaddi mats and shoes – vital contributions strengthening the foundation of Bahrain’s kabaddi programme.
