CUE SPORTS – Bahrain's billiards and snooker national teams departed yesterday for Egypt where they will compete in the Arab Championships 2025, to be played in New Alamein.
The competition is scheduled to begin today and continue until October 22, with Bahrain amongst 16 nations taking part.
The others are Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Kuwait, Oman, the UAE, Qatar, Palestine, Tunisia, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and hosts Egypt.
Bahrain’s delegation that travelled to Egypt is headed by Bahrain Billiards, Snooker and Darts Federation board member Hussain Bubshait.
The kingdom’s team will be competing in the billiards events with brothers Hussain and Haider Maroom, Ebrahim Al Qaed and Faisal Almaliki amongst the men; and Nahla Al Sunni, Aisha Buhazza, and Jood Al Majed amongst the women.
In snooker, Bahrain’s squad features Habib Sabah, Hisham Al Saqr, Khalil Busaif, Abdulla Alaali, and Abdulla Mohammed.
